Tai Chi Classes in Rockhampton

While Rockhampton area classes are resuming from the Covid-19 shutdown some times and venues have changed. All classes will conform to all applicable Covid-19 restrictions including social distancing.

Level-based Instruction

The previous Wednesday evening class is now Saturday morning: 9:00-10:00am, Rockhampton Botanical Gardens (The Tamarind Tree Line -- between the Japanese Gardens and the War Memorial), with occasional classes on the Capricorn Coast (details by e-mail). Site Map.

All Rockhampton tai chi participants are welcome to attend, regardless of your fitness or skill level. Multiple instructors provide small group instruction based on level of Khor-style tai chi attainment. AATC class fees ($5/session) apply.

In 2021 classes continue through school breaks from Saturday 9 January 2021.

Day Classes for Seniors (aged 50+)

Participants work in a single group consisting of practitioners at several levels of practice. Activities include Qigong and balance bar type exercises and the first three levels of the AATC tai chi set.
